Alcoholic Beverages
Minnesota law regulates the sale and service of all alcoholic beverages. Minors will not be served; the Club reserves the right to refuse service of liquor. All beverages must be purchased from the Club.
Food and Beverages
Food and Beverages are not permitted to be brought onto the Club premise. Exceptions may be granted for wedding cakes. Any other exception has to be approved by the Board of Directors.
Dress Code
The Mesaba Country Club, expects its members to abide by the rules and regulations established by the Board of Directors. This would include a collared shirt with sleeves for the men. Jeans are acceptable. Mock turtlenecks, wind shirts, henley's and sweatshirts with collars are acceptable .
Ladies may wear sleeveless tops. Shorts and skirts must be of appropriate length. Tee shirts are not acceptable. Baseball-style caps and other forms of headwear are not acceptable wear on the main floor of the Clubhouse.
Golf
Tee Times
From May through August, scheduled tee times start at 7:00 AM on weekends and holidays; and 8:00 AM on weekdays.
Players may start at any time before the first scheduled times. The Golf Shop will control tee times on days of organized events.
All players must register in the Golf Shop prior to their round.
Slow Play - Players should play with undue delay. Slow players should allow faster groups to play through.
Players must get approval from Pro Shop to start on the back nine.
Fivesomes are at the discretions of the Pro Shop and as conditions permit.
If you cannot keep a tee time, you must call the Golf Shop to cancel.
Tee times for Men's day (Thursdays) will be made on the last Friday of each prior month starting at 8:00 am. The times will be good for the then following month. (No local guest play allowed)
Golf Carts
Motorized golf carts are not allowed on or within thirty (30) feet of any green or tee except when on a cart path.
A member may request special consideration due to medical necessity by contacting the Board of Directors for a waiver.
All carts must be driven on cart paths and designated areas. After leaving cart path please fan out; do not make one path.
No more that two persons are to ride a cart at any one time.
Carts are to observe the 90- degree rule when crossing fairways and stay in the roughs as much as possible.
All motorized golf cart operators must have a valid driver’s license. No one under the age of sixteen (16) may operate a motorized golf cart under any circumstance.
A liability release form must be signed by the cart owner my May 1st of each year before cart use is allowed on the course.
Guest Policy
Local guests (guests residing within a 50 mile radius of city hall) may play with or without a member up to four times a year not counting tournaments or special events.
Guests residing outside a 50 mile radius of Hibbing may use the facilities an unrestricted number of times under such rules and regulations as established by the Board of Directors and payment of proper fees.
Any member may bring a non-member family member (i.e. daughter or son over the age of 21) who resides locally to use the facilities two times monthly during the season. Full guest fees will be paid and playing times are restricted to after 2:00 p.m. on weekends and holidays and weekdays during open play times.
No local guest play is allowed on Thursdays after 11:00.
Social Golf Member Privileges
All privileges of a "Social Member" plus limited golfing privileges.
Social golf members are limited to 12 rounds of golf. (Nine or 18 holes) Playing times are limited and set forth by the Board of Directors.
